Pours to a dark reddish amber color with a strong head and lacing. With hop very present on the nose. On the tongue it is quite refreshing, with a hint of malt flavor on the finish.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., Villa Park, IL. Pint served a clear brownish amber with a light tan/off white foamy head and a foamy, clinging curtain of lacing. The aroma was malt, sweet fruit and some citrus. The flavor revealed the malt to be a little toasty, along with some dryness and a fresh but mellow balance of the rest of the aroma notes. A pleasant but firm bitterness remained into the finish.

Pours a deep brown/orange with a red highlight. Thick head with good lacing. Smells a little funky and hoppy. I really have grown to hate the taste of pacman yeast i believe. the yeast has a fowl chalky taste to me. Sweet sugary malt. Hoppy, but nothing powerful.

(Draft at Saraha Bar, Las Vegas, NV): Pours a reddish brown color body, huge head, creamy and very lasting. 50oz pour. Very bitter aroma, some malty sweetness. Malty sweet taste, with some bitterness too. Some citrus. Pretty tasty, and very bitter. Less biter as it warms, but still good, not caustic or nasty as some beers get.

Bouteille de 22 oz achetée chez Total Wine and More (Tampa, FL). (Rating #2359)

Bottle. Poured red with thick white head. Little lacing. Aroma of hop, pine and spruce. After the big buildup the flavour was rather bland and simple. Long hop finish.
