Excellent !

On tap at the brewery. Light crisp hop aroma, with a real juicy pellet touch. Pours a lightly hazed deep red amber. Flavor starts very mildly and then develops a punch of raw, green pellet hops. Cascadeish. Malt shows a nip of caramel and color. Okay. Nothing to get excited about.

Need this in 6’s. Aroma of caramel and citrus. More sweet caramel flavor than anything. Solid and slamable.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark copper with a nice beige head. Aroma of citrus hops and sweet brown sugar/cinnamon malt. Tastes like that, but with a lot more pine and earthy notes. Mouthfeel is less than spectacular, but the finish is long and hoppy.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Solid red ale, one of the best I’ve had. Pours reddish amber with a cream-colored head. Aroma of malt, hops, earth, wood, and citrusy hops. Flavor is sweet, bready malt with a hop profile that seems almost similar to something like Stone’s Arrogant Bastard. Palate is soft and a little oily.
