Clear reddish amber with medium beige head. Hops in the aroma followed up by toasted malt and caramel notes. Flavour likewise with a bitter finish.

12 oz bottle @ Olutkellari, Helsinki. Slightly cloudy coppery color, low off-white head. Piny hop aroma with some fruity notes. Hoppy flavor with some caramel in the background, and a touch of alcohol as well. Medium body, medium carbonation. It’s ok.

On tap at Cajun Café (St. Pete, FL). Pours a dark reddish brown with thin off-white head. Aroma is malty and bready with a slight faint sweetness of molasses or honey. Flavor is somewhat hoppy which overpowers the sweet malt, some citrus and honey notes, but a really harsh and bitter finish. Generally medium body with a slightly burnt, bitter finish.

Pours darkish amber with a tall light amberish/biege head that recedes to a frothy cap. Smells initially like sweet vanilla extract and then caramel. As head recedes there are lots of hops - grapefruit and pine. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth and full, a bit sticky. Lots of heavy, foamy rings and sheets of lacing. Flavor is hoppy and sweet - big time grapefruit and pine over smooth caramel and vanilla. Almost enough hops to qualify as a big IPA - ha. Medium-heavy bitter bite through finish and a bit of a lingering bitterness on the tongue. 22 oz. bottle from Bootleggers.

Pours a dark amber with a big, thick head. Big, hoppy, piney aroma with a bit of sweet malt. A great flavor of Hops caramel and toffee. Bitter finish. Nice carbonation and mouthfeel. Pretty great amber.

Pours a nice reddish-copper color. Very hoppy aroma (pine, floral) with notes of caramel. Flavor is pretty big on hops with an underlying note of toffee. Bitter finish with some piney resin.
