| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 27, 2008 12oz bottle. Moderate foamy head on red amber. Strong aroma, initially of strong hops but deeper lies the amber scent; toffee and vanilla. Body is a bit foamy. Lots of hop and strong malt. Toffee flavours seem a bit rough. Notes of alcohol. A very hoppy amber but for me the underlying amber is not a great beer, hoppy or not. OK. Body is a bit of a distraction. nearbeer (1862), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | May 24, 2008 650 ml. Clear copper with a humongous head that lasts and leaves sugary lacing. Earthy orange, molasses, tea leaf and resin aroma is huge. Flavor is less sweet than the aroma: leans more to the earthy resin, cocoa, and toasted nut, but finishes with some Fruit Loop cereal to go along with the bitter. Medium body is mostly smooth, but occasionally rough with carbonation. Just enough to the dry side to be a great session ale. AdamSkillin (376), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 23, 2008 Deep amber color, thick cream-colored head with moderate retention. Aroma is very leafy, full of fragrant hops. Rich, cerealy flavor with a dry, leafy finish makes this beer dangerously drinkable. Relatively light body is well suited to the beer’s character, though the carbo was a little aggressive for my taste in the bottle I had. Overall, a definite winner in the Rogue family. mcferc4 (57), New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 20, 2008 Hoppy but watery. A bit thin. Also definitely some strong caramel malt going on, but I didn’t love this one. Friends found it a bit boring, and I’d have to agree. DuckDude (11), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Deep Reddish Copper with low, non-persistent tan head. Low carbonation. Surprisingly clear for a dry hopped beer.
Aroma - Moderately strong fresh earthy / resiny hop aroma. Light grapefruit and low maltiness with light caramel.
Flavor - Moderate bready malt with light caramel up front. Strong hop bitterness in the middle lingering through the finish. Resiny / grapefruit-like hop flavor. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Moderately light. Low carbonation. No astringency. Dry finish. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Hops are crisp and ripe, with decidious fruit character and a little earthy as well. Beautiful tan head with a soft floral aroma. Tastey all around.
