I didn’t like this one. In fact, it kind of made me nauseous. I was looking forward to it, too. Served cold from a 22 oz. bottle. Poured a reddish/brown color with a thick white head. The aroma has lots of hops to it. The flavor embodies those hops, the malts are really far in the background, I would go so far as to say they are barely there. Oh well. The aftertaste is very grainy. I didn’t like it. Maybe that’s what made me feel ill.

Dark and ruddy brown, distinct coffee/toast aromas with a pine hop presence. For all the rustic components, the palate shows off smooth, round edges. Full, nearly creamy finish. All the characteristics of a red ale stand out in the extreme: dark, full malts and bright natural hops. Pretty decent.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown/amber in color with a thick tan head. Aroma of flowery hops. Flavor predominantly caramel malt, flowery hops, lemon and wheat. Slight tartness. Goes down smooth. I enjoyed this beer a lot--gotta love that dry-hopping!

Deep orange, thin tight head. Massive hoppy aroma that jumps right out of the glass, but here’s the drawback - it is _exactly the same aroma_ that I had in your previous beer. Which was supposedly a different style. Ok, it’s not actually bad, but please try and be a bit more inventive. "Throw a whole load of new world hops in" is _not_ being inventive at all. Otherwise, taste fairly uninteresting - hoppy and sticky sweet malts. Not actually unpleasant, just dull.

A explosion of hops compliments the feel when you take your first sip. Brown and cloudy with a robust bitter aroma. Tan head which doesn’t last, very dry tasting with a feeling to allow the drinker to have a glass of water on hand.

Has a strange fruit snack like aroma. Pours a beautiful maroon color. Great lingering flavor which continues to come out and surprise you even after it has been swallowed.

Pours transluscent maroon with a fizzy beige head. Smell is metal and tea scented malts. Taste is like malty tea with some gooey sprucey caramel. Kind of a hibiscus tea hop flavor, and gummy bear fruitiness in the finish with a nice bitterness. Medium bodied and nice carbonation. Tastes better than it smells, but could be an old bottle as I picked it up in Vegs. Not bad, and a hoppy amber for sure.
