Just a tad of a raspberry aroma. this beer is easy to drink that tingles the taste buds nicely. This isn’t as fruity as some red ales but that is how I like them. Overall, a good looking beer with a hopped up taste.

Dry hopped version, 12 fl oz bottle at The Bishop’s Arms, Malmo, 8th Oct 2007. Pours a slightly hazy brown with a small head. Good aroma of bitter hops with some malt hints and a raspberry note. Very dry, hoppy taste (yum!) with a malts balancing it nicely. Decent finish - very drinkable stuff.

Dry hopped version in a 22oz. Almost garnet color with a decent one finger head. Grassy, citrus, and pine aromas. Not much malt in the smell. Nice balance of sweet and hops. Nice finish that does not linger too long. By far my favorite Rogue that is available all year.

Poured a dark copper color with medium head and moderate lacing on the glass. The amber ale has a similar taste. This beer has a heavier mouthfeel and is smoother. A great beer, I could drink this beer all night and not get tired of it.

(Bottle at The Rover, Göteborg) Slight shady red color, fluffy tan head. Fruity, hoppy and sweet malty caramel scent. Sweet hoppy bitter taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

Bottle as "Dry hopped St. Rogue Red Ale". Pours deep ruby with moderate beige head. Some lacing. Powerful hop aroma is passionfruit, pineapple and sweetish orange. Some hint of caramel malt aroma behind. Flavor is toasty and nuanced caramel maltiness- very full - ringed by lightly bitter citrus peel hop flavors. Lasting bitterness and mild soapiness in the finish along with some very light smokiness. All in all, nicely balanced.
