pours a nice dark red colour with a very foamy head. Excellent aroma of hops. Great hoppy start with a sweet smooth malty finish. I would definitly get again.

pours a dark reddish brown with a thick off white head. Aroma is lovely citrus and floral hop. Good balance in the flavour. Nice floral hop flavour at the front fading into a dry malt body. Very clean finish. Excellent beer, loved it.

Muddy dark copper with a medium sized white head. Citrus hoppy aroma, some caramel. Hoppy flavour with a malty backbone, rather dry.

while the malt flavors in this one were good, its the dry hops that really came through outstandingly, with a wooden finish

Dark amber with light brown head. Toasted sweet orage on the nose. Flavor is hoppy up front. kind of thin and watery with the malt taking over the finish.

Nice looking dark red with a small tan head. Aroma is of caramel and subtle citrusy hops. Taste is thin and weakly bitter with a slight metallic edge. More alias-named weak-sauce from rogue. $3/12oz

Bottle (dry-hopped red). Nose is balanced hops, sweet citrus and bitter undertones. Nice looking reddish brown with a hardy brown head. Mild hop flavor, kind of bland and watery. Palate is okay but a bit thin. Not particularly enjoyable.

Bottle. Smells like it’s going to be a caramel sweet bomb. Thankfully it doesn’t lay on the tongue finishes a lot cleaner than that. Nice roasty and hoppy qualities. Dank, musty hop quality about it, which normally I would attribute to Nugget hops, although I don’t see that listed here. There probably aren’t any Klages in this though, since that cultivar was phased out in the late 90s. In fact, a lot of the marketing in this beer looks like it was born in the late 90s. Most dry hopped beers don’t make special mention of it with logos or emblems on the label. All in all, lots of good taste complexity for a 5.2% beer. I’d really like to try this on cask, served at 55F.
