12 oz. bottle. Pours dark amber/brown with little off white head. Head is gone almost immediately. Medium sweet smell, with a hint of hops. Sweet caramel taste with i twinge of hops on the back end. Medium bodied with mild bitter after taste. Even with the medium weight, very drinkable and wish I had more on hand.

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm) Reddish brown colour with brief off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of wild berries, caramel and fresh hops, hints of pine needles as well. Fruity taste with dryish malty notes, wild berries, caramel and hops. Rather dry, medium body. Hops are more evident in the aroma, replaced by malt and caramel in the taste, making it quite balanced. Hardly exciting, but definitely well made and tasty.

Dry hopped version. I really liked this ale. Caramel amber taste that is overwhelmed by a powerful complex hop flavor. Bitter finish.

Dry Hopped version. Pours to a glowing brassy orange body with a lasting bubbly light khaki head. The aroma is grassy hops and simple pale malts. The flavor is pretty simple with weak light grassy hops and specialty malts. Non-offensive, simply not very impressive. Average bitter palate.

Pours a highly carbonated dark red with a cream white head. Aroma of dry citric hops. Flavor has toasted malt, strong dry hop finish, rye bread, and a mild caramel back drop. The dryness lingers. The malt character shines more as the ale warms.

Bottle shared by Blake. Cloudy brown-amber body, small tan head. Smells like unfermented wort - sweet caramel and juicy hops. The flavor sort of falls flat in the middle - no underlying sweetness and bitter, resinous hops on the edge. Some dry toasty malts but that’s all there is.

murky off brown pour w/ hints of orange and an avg tan head w/ some pretty good lacing. Aroma is farily nice some good grassy hops w/ a light carmel and the grains traditional in a red. Palate is pretty avg. Flavor has a big front bitter piney grassy taste a bit of a stale grain some light copper and light carmel. ok.

[354A-20070622] REGULAR. 12floz (c/o DuctTape, w/ him, jerc). Yeasty medium alcohol aroma has notes of smelly feet. Clear, red amber body with a medium-lasting off-white head. Flavour has a yeasty musty tree-root quality, almost reptillian, with a potato thrown in. Slimy smooth full body. Nice, well-blended. (6/4/7/4+/14+)

[354B-20070622] DRY-HOPPED. 12floz (c/o DuctTape, w/ him, jerc). Yeasty medium alcohol aroma has some spicy hoppy notes. Clear, red amber boyd with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Yeasty very hoppy flavour has notes of grass and spice and a nice aftertaste. Dry full body. Good. (6+/4+/7/3/14)
