| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 18, 2007 Bottle (as dry hopped). Great aroma of citrus and floral hop. Near mahogany color with a firm beige head. Medium bodied. Starts with floral hop and medium roasted malt. Maybe citrus hop follows. Carbonation is a bit fizzy, but not harsh. It drinks incredibly well, almost smoothly. The finish is different, this is sprucy hop? Relatively dry finish, nicely bitter. The hop aspects are great, but seem to vary for me. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2007 Pours a beautiful auburn with a beautiful thick head and nice chunky lace. Great aroma - spicy, hoppy, floral & slightly sweet. Tastes, initially, of hops, but opens up into a pleasant malty taste (summer fruits, plum & cherry - tangerine!) Chinook hops lend a bit of citrus to the finish, which is dry and lingering. Thinnish body but great carb. This is an impressive beer, and says much in favour of dry-hopping. Astonishingly, my wife likes this beer. Not sure what to make of this... biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 12, 2007 Bottle. Deep red pour, white head that didnt last long. Nice mouthfeel, very tasty. A bit of citrus/fruit taste at the end. Good stuff. ChainGangGuy (2613), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Appearance: Pours a deep reddish color with a small, yellowish head.
Smell: A vigorous swirling of the beer seems to coax out some soft caramel notes and a small amount of citrus.
Taste: The blending of moderate caramel sweetness with a slight citrus hoppiness provides an overall tart flavor. Over time, the bitterness does becomes more and more prominent, but never overbearing.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with some serious carbonation.
Drinkability: At best, a fairly average, textbook amber ale. peridot (17), Alabama, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Piney-hoppy aroma. Very nice red colour with decent, off-white head. The flavour is very hoppy, more on the piney side than citrus, but is not very bitter. Somewhat roasty but not very much beyond that. Medium thin body and uninspiring mouth-feel. It seems like it’s on the right track but needs a little more... everything. mbrandon2w (109), Worcester, Massachusetts, USA
