Bottle. Hazy amber pour, smell of hops and malt. Flavor was of a standard amber ale with some decent hops added in.

Pours a dark reddish amber with a large tan head. The aroma is very hoppy with grass, grapefruit, tropical fruits, and some toffeeish malts showing through. The flavor is very earthy bitter with a slight roasted character. Chewy, grainy malts battle the hops. It ends very bitter, grassy, and dry. A very powerful amber ale.

Red brown, thick head, lots of lacing. Aromas of malt, lactose, caramel and peppery hop. Hoppier taste than the aroma would suggest. Palate is a little thin.

Hazy copper color with a fleeting tan head. Malty caramel sweet aroma with leafy hops. Medium body. Decent floral and leafy hop flavors on a solid caramel malt base brew. Not too bad.

i love the hoppy american ambers. here in ontario this would be a hop bomb of an ipa. Its pretty much just hops with minimal malt. I still enjoyed it.
