A hazy dark red beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet with quite a lot of aroma hops combined with notes of caramel and a touch of berries. The flavor is rather hoppy with a good deal of cowberries as well as a little toffee, leading to a bitter piney end.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Credited to "Oregon Brewing Co.". Pours a beautiful, clear, dark amber golden with an off-white head. Typical American sweetish aroma. Rather light body, dry - very dry actually - with roasted malt and flavours - but not the sweetness - of candy sugar. Dry, light bitter finish. Very drinkable. 200606

12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight cloudy deep amber with a thick and tan head. Dry wooden hops aroma with a light fruity hops touch. Bitter, roasted and malty flavoured. Light breadish and dry into the finish. Mild acidic and bitter finish. Mild liqourice note from the hops into the far finish. Ends dry and bitter lasting impression.

Sampled draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. (7.0% ABV)
Very dark ruby, near no head. Strong grapefruity hop aroma. Completely dominated by hops, but there is still enough´malt to balance it. Notes of pine needles in a bitter finish. I wish the malt profile would be softer, and have less obvous crystal malt character.

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2007, London. Unclear medium amber red color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

Brownish red colour (dark blood), big bubbly beige head which disappears quickly. Berries and hops in aroma with hints of caramel. Berries, hops and malt in flavour. A bit soapy flavour too.
