Dec 5, 2007 Cloudy blond color. The aroma smells of malt but also of orange soda (Fanta?). Some malt body, but the spicy mix (and orange peels) makes of it a horrible brew.

Nov 28, 2007 I’ve had good saisons, bad saisons and middle of the road saisons. This fits squarely in the "middle of the road" catergory. The nose is malty sweet, with a bit of light fruits and spices coming off it. Nothing overwhelming or outstanding. Appearance is a hazy orange color with lots of floaties..uh...floating about. The flavor was just not interesting enough to get higher marks. Heavy yeast (perhaps that’s the floaties) really trumps the fruits that are there but can’t escape the yeast’s shadow. Slightly spicy with a tannic finish. Far from being a drainpour, but far from being a repeat purchase too.

Nov 18, 2007 Not a bad beer. I never really thought of this as a saison...but not bad. I wouldn’t seek it out again I don’t think.

Nov 12, 2007 Huge head from the pour but with minimal carbonation once it settles. Stinky cheese aroma. Some sour cherries, candied fruits. You know the gelatinous ones that are in fruitcake. Cloudy golden orange. Palate is chalky, bitter and dry. Fizzy in the mouth with light fruit and some bitter hops. Some lingering spices but your typical nutmeg and cinnamon holiday spices. A strange but ok brew.

Nov 5, 2007 Kind of a muddled cider scent and flavour, despite all the exotic ingredients. I see what they were going for here, and the flavours are rather straightforward, but the end result is painfully fizzy. It was so gaseous that it made it tough to drink. Looks good and all, but it’s not what I’m looking for in a beer.

Nov 5, 2007 Orangy peach and opaque. Very fizzy with a thick dissipating head. Based on the description there seems to be a lot in this beer. The smell however, is so varried that I can’t really identify anything from it except that it smells very fruity and sweet with a hint of orange. Tastes a little bit like a cider with a bitter aftertaste. It’s not great, but it’s certainly drinkable.

Sep 29, 2007 from the bottle. poured a cloudy dirty honey color with no head. aroma, a sour sweetness combo, orange, wheat, hops, some ginger. flavor, sour orange, hops, ginger, fruity, the alcohol comes out when it warms up and orange becomes more prominent

Sep 27, 2007 Dark yellow in color with haze and solids. A little too sweet. The spice is about just right. An OK beer.
