smith4498 (339), Miami, Florida, USA Apr 28, 2008 Pours hazy golden color with floaters and a white head. Aromas of fruit and spices (ginger and coriander) and some yeast. Flavor of wheat, ginger and coriander. OK flavor, nothing great. Medium body with too much carbonation. I would much rather have a German hefe or Belgian wit.
leninthedesert (110), Nevada, USA Aug 30, 2008 Cloudy, hazy golden pour. Initial flavor is bitter citrus (peels/rinds). Spice lacing comes forth as the taste develops, but does not seem to compliment the initial taste. Seems disjointed in this regard. Finishes light and watery. Not Rogue’s best effort. emerica56 (454), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Aug 28, 2008 Pours a thick white head and a cloudy orange color with a nose of lemon grass and malted wheat. The initial flavor is full of lemon and light fruit mainly orange peel. The carbonation is just perfect for this beer. Overall it could use some more flavor but for a wheat beer it is not bad. marcus (980), Sacramento, California, USA Aug 27, 2008 This hazy yellow wheat beer poiured with a massive white head that subsided to just lacing on the glass after a few minutes. This is rather disappointing effort by Rogue in that the flavor is very thin and the spices are barely discernible. Thre is some nice hop bitterness at the finish. emacgee (1033), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Aug 25, 2008 Pours a pale hazy yellow with a one finger white head. The nose is wheaty, lemongrass, grainy, a bit sour. The flavor was grassy, some sour wheat, corn, grainy, a little yeasty. The palate was light and softly carbonated. trokini (846), San Diego, California, USA Aug 25, 2008 Pours bright gold with a 2 cm tall white head. Can really smell the ginger, along with the pleasant wheat, grain, and citrus. Taste is like an American wheat, wtih spicy, Belgian-like flavors. Orange peel, coriander, and the Saaz are a great mix. The ginger again was a bit powerful, but still nice.
