650 LCBO. Typical Rogue yeast and malt profile reminds me of Dead Guy and to a lesser extend Brutal Bitter. Medium malt body, nut aroma and flavor, gets more interesting as I get into the bottle. Demerera and cream.

Dark brown, no head. Interesting aroma with a mixture of caramel and vanilla. Impressively creamy, the hazelnut is there but not overpowering. The chocolate milk comparison works well for this one. This would be very pleasing on a cold autumn day, a comforting brew.

Pours a dark brown colour (go figure) with no head. The aroma is interesting, huge roasty hazelnut notes, cream, chocolate. The flavour is tasty and interesting, the beer starts out with a touch thin, but then explodes into flavours on the back of the tongue, big hazelnut and cream notes, maybe some chocolate milk, caramel. The palate is fitting, fizzy carbonation and an extremely buttery mouth feel. Fantastic stuff, best brown ale i’ve ever had.

650ml bottle - LCBO. Appearance: Ruby red with a yellowing - off white head, quite frothy. Aroma: Yes - Hazelnuts, yeast, chocolate. Flavour: Malty - nutty, some slight vanilla too. Interesting. Somewhat dry finish. As it warms up I can taste the hazelnut more and more. Delicious.

650 ml bottle - pours a dark mahogany with a slightly beige head. Aroma of nutella, some toasted malt, chocolate. Beautiful, not cloying. Flavour full and silky smooth - wonderful malts, milk chocolate with some dry nuttiness. A slight oiliness as well. Slightly bitter finish. A beautiful, beautiful beer.

650mL bomber from the LCBO. Poured a nice brownish amber with a large light mocha head. This beer smells absolutely AWESOME. One of the best smelling beers I’ve ever come across. Perfect malted barley profile, bready, worty, a touch roasty, with definite nuttiness, the promised hazelnut is a main character. I could sniff this all night and be content. Flavour is really big on the nutty aspects, with a touch of vanilla being a strong tag along to the whole party. Less barley flavour than I was hoping for after the aroma, but still some decent malts in there. Minor milk chocolate, as well as maybe some rye bread. Really not much hops to speak of, and usually I’m very perceptive of Saaz. The malt profile of this nectar is a pretty all-star line up, and they all blend together so seamlessly, with only the Crystals perhaps standing out a bit more than the rest. This stuff is just absolutely delicious!
