A hazy amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol and nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of wood, leading to a dry end. I find the flavor quite boring.

(Bottle 65 cl) Comes as "Rogue Morimoto Hazelnut Ale". Beautiful, clear dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Nutty, malty aroma. Very nutty, roasted accents - lovely flavours indeed. Almost no bitterness. 270106

Bottled. Dark ruby, average head. Nutty aroma -very aromatic. Sweet and roasty with lots of vanilla and hazelnut as well as chocolate. Clean, somewhat hard mouthfeel. Pleasant, but one-dimensional, and suffering from the same syndrome that keeps many US microbrews to enter my list of top beers: simplistic, hard, clean malt character.

Bottled. Brownish amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma of caramel, candy sugar, toffee and alcohol. Flavour is plum, grass, alcohol, caramel, some flowery hops and sugar. Quite much in it, and also very wellbalanced.
