Probably my favorite Brown ale. Nice deep brown color with a lasting head. Silky smooth on the palate, with lots of nutty malt character. Aroma is a perfect balance of hops and malt. Very well done.

(65o ml bottle) This is truly a nice brown ale. Pale yellow, medium sized head and a deep red body. Nose and flavour of caramel, malt, oak and whiskey. Very delicious. Many thanks to MartinT for graciously picking this up for me on one of his roadtrips to the southland...

Great malty nose from milk, nuts and toffee. Pleasant mild flavor with milky and nutty notes. This was really good...

Bottled, Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy dark brown colour. Nutty, cocoa nose. Light, smooth malty with a tang of nuts as well as a nice hop presence, making this a balanced and nice brew.

Bomber poured a clear reddish brown with a small amber head. Aromas of sweet malt, some nuttiness and a hint of molasses. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of hazelnuts, sweet malt, and a hint of coffee with a smooth, lingering nutty finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark reddish-brown with a small diminishing white head. Nice aroma of caramel malt, nuts and maybe even some chocolate. Delicious flavour of hazelnuts, caramel malt, roasted malt and a nice bitterness in the finish. Body’s a little thin but the mouthfeel is nice and creamy. If only all Nut Browns were this good, this is definitely the best one I’ve ever had. Great stuff.
