| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 7, 2007 Maroon brown pour with a light tan head. Slightly transluscent but hazy. Smell is definitely big on hazlenuts with a lot of sweetness, and milkiness coming in as well. Smells like the hazlenut coffee creamers. Nice slightly thick body on the beer, smooth, and sweet nuttiness. Perhaps a bit overly sweet, but the big nutty flavor was welcomed. Nice for a brown, and pretty easy drinking. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA

A dark brown beer with a hint of red when held to the light. It has a flavor of sweet hazelnut coffee. A good finishing bitter that eases on you and lasts. A smoothly carbonated beer that the palate doesn’t weaken much as it warms. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA
