Dark ruby color, kept a very nice head, very smooth, some nutty undertones to the flavor, lots of other interesting flavors in there, tasted almost like there was a few stalks of barley right in the glass, very interesting brew

22oz Bottle labeled as Morimoto Hazelnut Signature Ale. Pours a dark redish carmel color with a fizzy tan head that dissapears in literally a few seconds. No lacing. Smell is a sweet dark roasted, nutty and maybe slight coffee. The nutty flavor is very pronounced, and a bit sweet. I can see whay it’s called ’nectar’. Dark almost burnt lingering flavor and a slow roasted finish. Plenty of carbonation. Interesting and quite bold flavor.

on tap @ papago. dark chestnut brown pour with orange at the edges. it’s got a small off white head that disappears to a ring rather quickly. aromas of toasted hazelnut syrup, caramel/toffee and some grassy hops. the flavor is definitely fake hazelnut but not really in a terrible way. notes of toffee, chocolate and grassy hops as well. light bodied but it has lively carbonation which makes it insanely drinkable. it’s not as bad as my rating would indicate, i’m just not down with flavorings...

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee (hazelnut I suppose), slight nuts. Flavor is quite nutty (hazelnuts and walnuts) with a slight sweet malt backbone. Good beer, interesting flavor!

Pours a deep brown with a moderately thick light tan head. Aroma is very sweet and is pretty apparent about the hazelnut. Smells like a barista poured some syrup in my brew. Taste follows suit - very sweet syrupy hazelnut backed a basic brown ale malt base. Decent, but not really my thing.

Pours a dark brown with an amber hue and light brown head. Aroma is of light roastiness and hazelnut. Taste is nutty with notes of chocolate, maple syrup with a hint of smokiness, molasses and coffee. Pefectly sweet with a touch of bitterness. Pretty complex. Goes down very smooth. Mouthfeel is full and round but ends a little watery. Overall, a great brown ale.
