Malty, nutty, smooth and amazing... I don’t like to many Brown’s, but this is one yummy brew.

An excellent brown ale. The aroma is fantastic. Pours out to a dark brown in the glass with a light brown head. Taste is indeed nutty, with a perfect blend of hops and malt. It got better as it warmed up. This brewery knows beer.

The bottle doesn’t lie, definitely a world champion brown ale. I feel like a retro-beatnik just smelling it, belongs in a coffee shop. the alcohol content is hidden like governments pro-tourist messages during the Michigan/Notre Dame game. Maybe its the alochol talking, but this beer makes me laugh in a Fox News kind of way

Best thing about this: the head, beautiful in color and dissipates very slowly for the style. Indicates higher-than-usual carb, which turns out to be right. For me, the above-average carbonation & hoppiness detract a bit, but the flavor is exceptionally complex, and I have to say the nose is one of the best, malty as all get out.

Clear dark amber, tan head recedes quickly, nose is roasted malt. Surprisingly for this brewer, more in the malt department than the hops. Roasty chocolatey flavor with nutty undertones. Typical Pacman house character comes through as well. Really nice ale.

Yeah, it is that good. A typical mellow browna ale character, with a typical (for Rogue) hop backbone. This is not an attempt to make an English Brown, this is an American Brown Ale. Very impressive.

This is a great brown ale, probably the best I have had. Nutty flavor with a nice malty finish. Hazelnut flavor is not overpoweringly sweet. This and the Shakespear Stout are my favorite Rogue ales so far.
