This was a deep brown color with a thin head. The aroma was that of dark malts and Hazelnut. Loved the aroma the beer also had some great flavors this was truly a fun beer to drink. Never thought it would be this good. The beer drank easy and the hazelnut flavor was throughout but not hugely overpowering. A Great Great Beer.

The first sip provided a blast of hazenut flavor, with a good sweetness. Hints of caramel, toffee, almonds, and brown sugar presented themselves. The finish was smooth and malty, with a nice hop kicker. A wonderful brown ale. ChrisPants (317), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Hazelnut (obviously), Spree candy, vanilla, and whole wheat were all invited to the party in my mouth. Palate is perfectly balanced rich smoothness with just the right amount of carbonation and subtle, supportive hops. Cinishes clean, sweet, and tasty. I like it! ruggedman (626), Portland, Maine, USA

This beer erupts with flavors of, you guessed it, hazelnuts and nectar. Slighty fruity aftertaste which is hard for me to like, but rogue pulled it off in this case. Nose is a regular brown ale styled and has traces of sugar and caramel malt. Flavor is delisicously nutty and is made up of brown sugar, caramel and hazelnuts. Also has a sweet syrup and toasted malt taste. The best brown ale i know of. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Has a lot of characteristics similar to their line of stouts but with a smotheringly fantastic aroma of hazelnut and brown sugar. Malty, not too brutal on the saaz hops which is a fine balance. A very popular choice from Rogue! apost8n8 (123), Oklahoma, USA

Dark brown with creamy tan head that dissapate quickly (probably a dirty glass) Very nice nutty and fruity start with a bang of hazelnut and cinnamon finish. It was delicious and very drinkable. I’ll have another as soon as I find one. It was great.
