Excellent nutty/malty flavor. Weak aroma does not translate to the flavor that this beer has. Going on my favorites list.

This had a small head.I like head, but not too much,as it takes away from the main pleasure. The color was very dark brown. Not much in the aroma dept, probably due to the lack of head.It tasted as promised with a hazelnut tinge. This is the best brown ale I have had.I love hazelnuts with chocolate,so I guess you need to drink this with your chocolate cake or candy bar.It has a sticky, hazelnut finish.Nice!!I guess I will have to see what ’OMHPER’ rated as being better than this, since he was so down on American beers-I hope it wasn’t Newcastle.Do I smell a snob??He rated this higher than Newcastle, but it’s Brittish.

Yet again, Rogue delivers. The hazelnut comes with a dark brown/red color with a one finger head. Nose is light hazelnuts. The taste at first is lighter on the nut, but I found as time went on that the flavor was more pronounced as it stayed with you. This won’t be my all-time favorite by Rogue, but it still is very very good.

This beer is one of my all time favorite brews. The hazelnut is sweet though not overpowering and the after taste is perfectly dry.

Awesome. Good hazelnut flavoring, I reaally enjoyed it. Smooth tasting with good roasted notes. Overall a really good brown ale. The hazelnut taste is so enjoyable it almost makes you feel like you are chewing on some... Delicious, and without a doubt my favorite Brown thus far.

22oz Morimoto. Simply look at the name. Hazelnut, brown, and nectar. Solid and creamy, with a great malt flavor. Delicious.

Aroma: One word: yum. Maple syrup, brown sugar, toasted marshmallows - and you can really smell the hazelnuts. Just a hint of mocha. Really something, this one. Appearance: Gorgeous, shiny kalamata-olive coffee black. Pale yellow-tan head. Flavor: A sophisticated flavor. Roasted malts that turn chocolatey at the end and a subtle hazelnut character. Estery hops lend a clean finish. The bottle says to serve with beef or pork, but personally I think it would match much better with dessert, especially something with a coffee flavor. Tiramisu comes to mind. Palate: Good; full-bodied and thick. Overall: I could sip this all night. I chose it as my post-finals celebration beer, and what a good choice! I just wish I had more.
