Smelll the malts in this one. Good finish, very smooth. Great taste and a wonderful feel in the mouth. Very flavorful for a brown ale. Not my typical. Good brew by Rogue.

Bottle One of my favorite brown ales (or is brown nectar its own category?). It is as sweet as nectar, with an amazing hazelnut flavor. In fact, it tastes a bit like Nutella in a bottle, which is a very good thing. Nice malty flavor to complement the sweet hazelnut, lest you forget this is a beer, and a very good one at that!

great brown with a nice chocolate caramel flavor, sweet aroma - hints of nuttiness, malt - full-bodied with a slightly higher alcohol than expected

I had Rogue HazelNut Brown Nectar on tap at Scotty’s in Bloomington, IN. The ale is deep brown in color with a nice but quickly disappearing head. The aroma is light, but hints of hazelnut cannot be missed. The flavor is full of great hazelnut flavor and the finish is very smooth. This is a great brown ale!

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a thin head. Strong, pleasant, hazelnut aroma. Nice strong nutty flavour, pleasing slightly sweet aftertaste.

Roasted malt, and hazelnut, with slight tones of chocolate. Amber brown with a nice big cream fluffy head that leaves amazing lacing. Tastess like a lot of chocolate and nuts, with a bit of roasted malts. Almost like a liquid hershey hazelnut, with lots of deliciousness. Wicked mouthfeel with a bit of carbonation, I’d say moderate carbonation. Overall a great rogue happy to find it up in Canada at the LCBO.
