I’ve really liked this beer for a while, it has this nice hazelnut and malty smell to it and a smooth hazelnut flavor that lingers only long enough. I have noticed that this beer does vary in taste from batch to batch, but generally it’s always good.

Bottled. Brownish amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma of caramel, candy sugar, toffee and alcohol. Flavour is plum, grass, alcohol, caramel, some flowery hops and sugar. Quite much in it, and also very wellbalanced.

Outstanding brown ale, with notes of maple syrup and almonds along with a gorgeous ruby brown color. Meduim bodied and mildly sweet.

22oz morimoto bottle. Pours a dark rich brown color with a light off white head. Nose is tons of chocolate and hazlenuts, almost has like a peanutbrittle or peanutbutter feel to it. Taste is more of the same, lots of chocolate, toffee, and tons of nuts. very creamy mouthfeel that makes your mouth very happy.

Hazelnut dominates the aroma and its awesome. Very smooth, buttery, lots of hazelnut in the flavor, well rounded and robust with a touch of hops. A very nice brown, and very different and distinct.

Beautiful deep brown color, light brown head. An extremely nice nutty aroma with heavy malts. Brown sugar is highly evident, light carbonation after the initial pour. Tastes almost like maple syrup.
