A nice dark brown with a frothy head that reduces to a nice lacing. A sweet hazelnut aroma and a complex nutty flavour dominate this wonderfully full bodied beer. A very sweet hazelnut aftertaste. Smooth and delicious.

Very good brew! Nice nutty tone with very good malts - chocolately taste compliments the nut perfectly!

I remembered not liking it, but after a resample, this is pretty amazing stuff. Definitely the best brown ale out there.

Tried this while visiting Grand Rapids MI. Pours a beautiful brown with a rich, nutty bouquet. Nicely hopped with malty burnt chocolate hazelnut flavours... Sort of like Nutella! Loved it. (650ml bottle)

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Very sweet aroma with coffee and chocolate scents. Very smooth. Malty tases with a surprising amount of hops at the finish. Very nice brew.

Paid $3.99 for a 650ml bottle. Slightly hazy dark brown... small, but frothy head. Sweet hazelnut scent... smells like a hazelnut coffee candle. Very nice!! A very nice hazelnut flavor as well. Slightly coffee, slightly caramel, lots of hazelnut, especially in the aftertaste. This one's tasty. Very drinkable, but might get to be too much to be a session beer. However, if you have one of these a night as a starter, you're in a good spot!
