Morimoto edition. Has anyone ever had that Nutella stuff that Kobe Bryant endorsed before his little ordeal? Well, it tastes kind of like Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar, and that's a good thing. Aroma is of (gasp) hazelnut and the flavor is smooth, crisp, and not over the top. Probably my second favorite Rogue (after the Chocolate Stout).

Wow...a real treat and wonderful beer! Pours dark with a medium tan head, good lacing. Not much to the aroma, earthy-sweet. Chocolate and toffee in the nose, malty sweet through and through with just the right balance of hops. Very smooth creamy mouthfeel with an unforgettable sweet nutty finish. I'll be enjoying this one to the end!

Brown/auburn in color with a light tan dissipating head. Strong nutty aroma. Mouth fills with the hazlenut taste, and leaves a nice impression on the palate. Very malty. I wish there was a little bit more spice, that is the only thing I see keeping this fro mbeing exceptional.

The first hazelnut beer I ever had was a Longshot Hazelnut Porter from the Longshot contest that was recommended by a bartender in Durango, CO. I have been in love with the flavor ever since. This is an exceptional brew, and if you are lucky enough to get it, then GET IT!!! Tastes just as advertised- immediate rush of hazlenut but with a coffee-like finish. Extremely well-balanced on all fronts.

Pours brown with a thick tan head that is moderately diminishing. Nose is cream and hazelnut. The flavor is the same, with a nice coffee balance and hops at the end. Sweet and creamy, very good mouthfeel. Not many bubbles. Yum.

Dark brown. Nice fluffy head. Moderate carbonation. Robust chocolatey nutty aroma. Man this stuff really smells great. I didn’t know what a hazelnut tasted like until I took a drink of this. I like hazelnuts. The choclateyness really works well with the nuttyness. This medium bodied beer seems to stick around in you mouth for a while. Man this is good. Probably the best Rogue ale I’ve tried so far.

Chestnut brown pour with lively beading supporting a medium khaki head and good lacing. Very pleasant nutty aroma with roasted malts and a touch of toffee. Smooth and silky mouthfeel and a well balanced flavor of hazelnuts, vanilla and spice. Admittadly, the hazelnut tones occasionaly felt "forced" but I kept coming back the fact that this beer just tasted great. Complimentory and long lasting nutty finish. Heading out today to pick up a few more bottles to share with friends over the holidays.

Poured brown with a tan head. Sweet malt aroma with some nut character. Taste is nutty but also very malty like a bock. Very drinkable, and hands down the best brown ale I’ve had.
