It makes for an incredibly rich, nutty and sweet brown. Pleasant deep brown color with an eggshell head that didn’t stick around. Plenty of vanilla, toffee, sweet chocolate and subdued nuttiness in both aroma and flavor. You could smell this one a mile away. Starts very sweet and finishes a bit more subdued and refined. There’s alot going on in this one. mikenodak (142), Fargo, North Dakota, USA

The best thing at the otherwise joke yardhouse. Nice woodsey malts with very crisp nut flavor. Great brown color and the usual amount of head. The taste is very nice, and very noticable, no guessing here. MOboy (446), Kansas City, Missouri, USA

Wonderful chocolate hints and the sweetness is not overpowering. Just a taste of hazelnut makes this a magnificent beer. Dickinsonbeer (3490), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Silky smooth on the palate, with lots of nutty malt character. Aroma is a perfect balance of hops and malt. Very well done. DaSilky1 (1989), San Diego, California, USA

Great choice for # 300 However, do not drink more than 1 bottle in a session..gets kinda wierd after too much.. iwantalambic (1389), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Aroma could be carmelized bananas roasting over an open fire. Sweet dark chocolate rolls over the tongue and the malty finish is extra smooth. I wish my 750 could be even bigger.
