Commercial Description:
Dark brown in color with a hazelnut aroma, a rich nutty flavor and a smooth malty finish. Hazelnut Brown Nectar Ale is a blend of Great Western 2-row Pale, Munich, Hugh Baird Brown, Crystal 80 and Crystal 135, Carastan, and Beeston Pale Chocolate malts; hazelnut extract; Perle and Saaz hops.

22oz bomber poured into a pyrex measuring glass (morimoto): Creamy head! very caramely color. Chocolate nuttyness. Smells of nuts and the sweetest, most succulent dark chocolate. so light and smooth. mellow roasty nutty chocolate flavor. a great beer, the BEST brown ale ive ever had.

Had it many times before, but never bothered to rate it. Pours out a nice dark brown color with a sweet aroma balanced by some chocolate. The taste is very complex, but smooth. Flavors are nice with notes of hazelnut, coffee, choclate. Flavors all complimented one another perfectly. Nice brew

Easily one of the top browns I’ve had, along with Naughty GOose. Deep brown with a head that lasts. A little bit of fruit in with the nutty character. Nice long dry finish.

Pours a dark mahogany color, small off white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, and some nuttyness. Flavor is nutty, almonds, caramel, very sweet, but not over the edge. Very nice!

Pours reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma is sweet. Flavor is sweet, hazelnut, some roasts, toffee and some nuttiness. Very creamy. Very interesting.

Morimoto on the bottle. Dark reddish brown, good head. Smells of malt and nuts. Nice malt flavor with obvious nuttiness. This was very easy to drink.

Big nutty aroma, with a great flavor. Not too carbonated. A flavor packed with nutty chocolate and coffee. Very sweet, but had some spicy hops in there too. Kind of bitter finish, but relatively clean for as dense as this is. Great beer.

Nice dark brown color. Nice nutty aroma, with hints of malt and coffee.The taste is an interesting hazelnut, caramel, and a bit of hops.
