Feb 8, 2006 Bottle: Dark brown colour, pours a beige heavy head but quickly fades. Aroma is spectacular, nutty, chocolate, sweet. Taste is silky, creamy and smooth, strong notes of hazelnut; truly a World Champion.

Jul 26, 2004 Updated: Sep 7, 2004Another beer I loved! But I got it labeled as Morimoto Hazlenut Brown, so I figure this is the same brew. Flavor was caramel, nutty, and creamy, which I enjoy! This is definitley hitting the top of my list of favorite browns!

Feb 19, 2006 Had a keg in my frige. It ’went’ faster than a keg of Guinness. Truly a fantastic beer. Was my first nut ale here at the house. Definately my all time favorite nut brown. Well worth the $147 I paid for the keg

Dec 31, 2006 Bottled under the Morimoto alias. A beautiful beer that goes from amber to a deep red. Aromas of nuts and malt that is hearty and fantastic. This beer is simple sublime with its coffee and nut flavors that give way to a smooth nut aftertaste after a light initial bite. A hoppy aftertaste also ties this back to beer instead of hazelnut coffee. A perfect beer.

Nov 24, 2007 Freshly poured while the thick brown foamy head slowly dissipates believe it or not I smell MANGOS! Im drunk and I have a damn mango tree about 20ft from my window but I smell mangos directly from this brew. Now after the head is gone and time to settle I definitely smell the hazel nut. Its so NUTTY! So smooth and drinkable matter of fact I honestly can drink this by the gallon. At 6.22% alcohol there is no trace of it. Get lost in this beverage and enjoy. Absolutely beautiful in appearance, aroma, and most importantly TASTE! My #1! Sorry Franziskaner Hefewiesse but youve been replaced but I still love you! However you know what there is no such thing as perfect so...
