Golden and a litlle cloudy. Nice berry and honey combo. Tad bitter at the end. Well rounded cream ale.

The bottle poured a light amber liquid with a medium white head that dissipated quickly leaving a very thin head with some lacing on the glass. You can clearly pick up the smell of honey in the initial aroma along with sweet malt and a hint of candy sweetness. The flavor starts with astringent dry hop bitterness. The middle continues to display slight hop bitterness with hints of grass and the finish is crisp and clean.

Pours slightly cloudy dark golden with a very slowly dissipating egg white head. Aroma is typical Rogue, hoppy a bit on sweet honey. Flavor is lightly bitter with just a bit of malt sweetness. Very easy drinking.

light orange in color with a thin head quickly dissapearing. decent amount of carbonation. not quite as creamy as i’d like but the honey and hints of citrus no well. A refreshing beer but i can’t imagine drinking more than a few of these.

Pours light gold with a small white lasting head. Mild honey aroma with almost a citric hint. Flavour is a mix of mild honey, a bit of biscuity malt and a slight grassy hop taste. Quite well balanced, edging towards bitter in the end. Soft in body, but definately not "creamy" as I was expecting. Not bad.

(12 oz. bottle) Light amber pour with a creamy looking white head. Faint aroma, mainly of bitter hops and a slight hint of sweetness. Very bitter taste with a bitter followup of stale hops. I don’t think I’m a huge fan of this one.

Poured a nice light amber with a smallish head and good lacing. Good aroma of hops. Flavor of malt and hops. Good easy drinking beer. Not bad at all.

12 oz bottle from 2004. Good pour; lots of sediment and a thick honey-like yellow, with light orange and gold tints. Large, creamy, off-white head, plenty of lacing. Smells slightly sharp and citric, like grapefruit rinds mixed with honey. Dosent seem to go too well together in the nose. Flavor starts out with a honey-almond flavor but is broken up by the citrus bitterness. It’s not horribly overpowering, but I’m not a huge fan of citric hops flavor in a cream ale. Malting is light, with a definite wateriness on the end. As it warms, more buttery, sweet, creaminess emerges and attempts to regain control of the beer. The citrus flavor abates somewhat on the end, leaving a more floral/herbal flavor, which works better with the malt sweetness here. Notes of yeast provide some interesting complexity in this, as well. A great beer, but I’m somewhat spoiled by the fresh cream ale at Portsmouth, which I feel is outstanding.
