Pretty golden color. Flavor doesn’t last long on palate and it’s nothing to write home about. Overall they did a good job, but it’s not something I prefer. willblake (2179), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Maltiness is obvious in aroma, also lightly floral. Flavor is sticke malty; hop bite translates as vegetal at times. I keep having MGD flashbacks with this beer for some reason. I can’t say I love it, but it seems a servicable quaff. Silphium (2137), Haslett, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 17, 2004 Lightly hazy orange body, medium off-white head. Buttered toast aroma with floral hints. Flavor is very much like the Oregon Golden Ale I recently sampled, with largely the same malts (buttered toast, burnt caramel) and different hops (imparting a spicy, floral, and lightly piney finish). Honey by suggestion but it isn’t really pronounced. Another solid Rogue beer. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2004 My first cream ale! Pours a foamy though fast dying head on a hazy orange golden body. Aroma is mostly hoppy with flowery and herby tones. Flavor is sweet at first with a bitter finish. Hop, malt and little spicy. Soft mouthfull. Easy drinkable and tasty but where the heck is the honey? 0o9i (335), Reno, Nevada, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2004 Bottled. Pours a slightly hazy, golden color..sadly, it looks like a urine sample with a creamy white head of good size...mmm...Nice initial lacing and then the head becomes very thin and lacing becomes almost nill. Aroma is honey, honey-pollen, lots of yeast of white, sugarless bread dough and some sweat. Medium body, lots of creamy carbonation and a dry, watery finish. Front is honey sweet, yeasty sour finish, lightly hopped for a Rogue. Simple flavor, but very yeasty, sweet, pleasant, very drinkable and very refreshing. I like the yeast in this one. mjg74 (1997), La Mesa, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 8, 2004 Pours a deep golden color and has a slight hint of hops upon smelling. I can taste some hops, but I can’t really taste any honey. It tastes kinda bitter as well. Zeswaft (1000), Seattle, Washington, USA
