Soft floral aroma of honey and lightly toasted bread. Light medium watery body with lively carbonation. Refreshing. Bittersweet flavor of honey, bread and straw. Decent. ztrvz (218), st paul, Minnesota, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 23, 2004 Very slightly hazy orange golden. Bright, hoppy nose with a hint of malt and pine. A bit watery with almost crisp carbonation. Well balanced if slightly lacking in flavor. I like it. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 18, 2004 Poured a hazy golden color with a thin head. Aroma is very hoppy. Tastes similar to an IPA but perhaps darker ... maybe a smoky quality to it. Can't taste any honey. Not a bad beer. Not great, either. mnbeerguy (11), Northfield, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 16, 2004 Not as good as I expected. Probably my least favorite from Rogue. Tastes somewhere between a lager and a pale ale. Definitely more hoppy than one might imagine from a cream ale. Might make a good summer swill, but I won't be buying it again. apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 13, 2004 Dry ashy flavor, nothing particularly very much like honey, with maybe a tiny, tiny bit in the aroma. Mild flavor. And somewhat sour aftertaste. notalush (2671), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 13, 2004 This is a bit bitter for a beer with "honey" in the name - taste is rather bland - seems like an american wheat with a touch of honey and hops - nothing really stand out, but quite drinkable. jcc83 (137), Athens, Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 6, 2004 Poured a clear golden shade with a thin, soapy head. Aroma was a fairly weak, hoppy, scent. Flavor was very hoppy and slightly bitter. There was a good sweetness to the flavor, including a hint of honey, but not as much as the name implies. Thin mouthfeel, but a good amount of carbonation. Not as fantastic as the other Rogues I've had, but a great, easy-to-drink, flavorful ale. Quite enjoyable.
