Slightly cloudy golden, small head, but it lasts.
Slight honesy scent- I also smell slight IPA- but then again, I could be imagining the best parts of life.
A decent taste, not really honey, but bitterly tangy... not something I particularly enjoy... but fairly drinkable.
I would not buy this one again. There's better beers out there, and this isn't one of them.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 21, 2004 Probably the worst rogue I ever had, but that still means it aint that bad. Just not too enjoyable of a beer, though I am ignorant of the style. Slightly harsh with an odd biting aftertaste. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 19, 2004 Hops and sweet malt aromas, amber, finger of white foam, lot's of carbonation here, with nice lace too. Stale malt taste, citrus/hoppy aftertaste. Light bodied, citrus tang. Fair by Rogue standards. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 25, 2003 A small sized white creamy head with fine-medium bubbles that mostly dissipated. The body had a lot of fast rising carbonation and it was cloudy with a yellow-gold hue. The nose was malty and light hops. The flavor was bitter and hoppy that left a lingering aftertaste. The mouthfeel of this beer was dry and bitter and this was a medium bodied beer with average lacing. This was not a beer that I enjoyed. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 25, 2003 This bottled brew poured a small head of fine to medium sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a carbonated hazy yellow light brown tinted body and a fair lace. It had a malty mild yeast dough aroma with a tingly sharp crisp mouthfeel that mildly lingered into the finish. The flavor was malty bubvble and a bit on the weird side. I did not get the honey in it, but the flavor just seemed a bit off for a Rogue. haddon90 (1036), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 18, 2003 Cloudy orange/amber color with a bubbly cream colored head. Faint aroma. I can detect coem malt but other than that it's fairly faint and too hard to decipher anything. Not smooth, malty flavor. Some honey adds to the finish. A hint of hops as well. Not the biggest fan of the style, but this was fairly decent!!
