Taste is much the same. Medium body, minimal "cream" to this cream ale. Good beer, but not at all what I expected. Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA

Taste is a nice mild hoppiness and the finish is clean. An overall good beer and one that you can have alot of. xsketchyx (184), Oregon, USA

Nice and drinkable, with just the right amount of sweetness. This isn't bad at all, and as interesting as everything else Rogue makes. DYCSoccer17 (2201), Davis, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 15, 2003 Pours a transparent copper with a 2.5cm white head. Nice Lacing. Nose is mostly of hops, maybe a tiny tiny touch of sweetness in there. Start is mildly hoppy and carbonated, only to give way to a PERFECTLY balanced honey aftertaste. This is a very good beer with a nice mouthfeel. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 13, 2003 Golden with a big, dense, long-lasting head. It has a sweetish, malty aroma with a touch of vanilla. Pretty dry, lots of hops and citrus, touch of honey. Aftertaste is a lingering bitterness with a smattering of honey. Not as sweet as most honey beers, which is what I expected. OldGrowth (1434), North Carolina, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 4, 2003 pours a hazy golden color, little head. Not much aroma, but I do smell a little malt and sweetness. Taste creamy, malty, and yes I do taste a minute honey flavor. A dry, slightly metallic finish. I can see why they call it a cream ale--it does have a creamy mouthfeel to it. Not earth shattering, but a good brew nontheless. A refreshing ale.
