| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jul 20, 2003 Not much of a head on this one but a great citrusy hop aroma with a hint of lemon and honey. Smooth yet very crisp with nice arrangement of flavors. Malt, hops, honey and a big citus flavor. Another good Rogue brew! drewcifer85710 (158), Youngstown, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2003 Um, wow. This isn't bad, but it certainly is weird. I like it actually but this caught me so off guard it's not funny. "Cream" and "Honey" suggested to me that the beer underneath should've registered on the malty end of the spectrum. I'll be damned if it's not hopped like a pale. Rogue says 29 IBU so I guess it's right in there. Pours a slightly hazy blond with a nice medium foamy head, nice lacing. Not too creamy and not too honeyish but I have no complaints about either of these as I can't stand overbearing fruit or honey brews. Ale underneath this is decent. Just a hint malty behind those hops and finishes clean. Fairly smooth, decent light to medium mouthfeel. Definitely odd but I finished feeling good about it. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 17, 2003 Honey and beer, IMO, do not mix. This one is odd. Looks OK, hazy orange-yellow. Has a little grapefruity hops and some taffy-esque sweetness, but this beer tastes more or less like somebody was creating a boilermaker made by dropping a shot of perfume into a glass of beer. Oily, sticky, pungent, floral, medicinal, and stuffed full of perfume. Easily the least impressive thing I've ever had by Rogue. roomtempbeer (185), Franklin, Pennsylvania, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Jul 17, 2003 Beer pours (in Chimay glass) an orange-golden with off-white head with large bubbles giving way to smaller bubbles with an even whiter head. Aroma of hops, and straw. Flavor is of hops. Hops is an undesireable characteristic IMO. Hops is best described as drinking concentrated soapy water. No honey flavor detected. This is a drainpour. Hop-lovers drink up - hop-haters ignore this beer. Sampled at 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Cobra (1066), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 13, 2003 12 oz. brown bottle. No freshness date. Poured out a summer blonde color, with a fast fading head. It did lace up a little, so I'll give it that much. Aromas of honey right off the bat, with a wildflower essence to it as well. Sweet malt and some kind of candy make up the rest of the aromas. Not much in the way of hops aromas, although they make their presence known in the taste. Tastes sweet, but not overly so. Aftertastes of malt, slight hoppy taste, and sweet honey. Not cloying at all. Makes a good summer time beer.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 12, 2003 Slightly darker than golden color, and yes, a creamy creamy head. What's left when the head fades clings to the surface like a film. I admit I was drawn in by the phrase "honey cream", but neither of those seem to be here in any abundance. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 12, 2003 Bottled. Clear amber colour, sparkly white head. Sweet malty aroma with a bitter hop background. Light-bodied with slightly thin a simple nature. Didn’t really make an impression on me.
