But, with that in mind I must say that this one is not that bad. The nose is quite good and has a nice darkish but not-too dark colour to it. The head is thin and quickly dissolves. The flavor is mild and not too strong. If I were a fan of cream ales this would be a good one. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

Sweetish, with some prickly malt, and light drying citric hops. Thanks to the dude who was bringing round samples of this at the Porter House in London. Re-rate: Tap@Rogue brewery. Well it was just a simple grainy, sweet cream ale. Honey makes it sweeter, soft and all that, but i couldn't ger into it. wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Finland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 1, 2003 This beer looks (rich golden color) and smells (honey, flowers) delicious. The head is a little on the small side and doesn't do much lacing. The flavor tasted too much like honeysuckles for my liking. Sort of soft and long lasting feeling on the back of the throat (like mineral water). Texture was more watery than creamy. deprogram (112), Renton, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 23, 2003 12 oz bottle Unassuming appearance, gentle fragrance of hops. Wonderfully drinkable, not nearly as sweet as I was expecting, more mild bitterness with barely discernable malt and a lingering honeysuckle sweetness. Light, smooth feel on the tongue. Would be great in a pitcher - I think even my most skeptical friends would like this one. jamrun (137), Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA

Poor head and moderate condition. Good hop and honey aroma, hops in the mouth seem like a cross between cascade and challenger, but is listed as crystal which I confess Ive never heard of. Good flavour none the less. Honey flavour is subdued but noticable and lingers into the finish which has some hop bitterness.

The flavor is very unique for a cream ale, but not too much honey flavor. This is a new favorite session beer. clvand0 (350), Lexington, Kentucky, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 2, 2003 This beer pours a light amber/dark gold - very attractive. It had a small head with minimal lacing on the glass. The aroma is very nice - reminds me of orange or orange peel. The taste was a little disappointing as it tasted watered down. Very bitter and dry, but still a little enjoyable. It looks and smells much better than it tastes.
