Flavor had a hint of honey but mainly just a mild bitter and watered down. Just looking for something from the fridge because I couldn’t sleep. Now I’ll have to have another to wash this out. My second through fourth sips found the sweetness. I lost count after that. Surprisingly crisp, almost lager-like. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA

It’s mildly bitter, but helps to balance the caramely malts. The honey is perceptable, but seems to be mostly just garnish. The nose is pale malts and slightly grassy, but less sweet than the flavor, and I don’t pick up any honey. Body is medium with a soft, gentle mouthfeel. Medium golden color and fully clear in appearance. A small, creamy, off-white head does materialize on the pour, but to not more than a quarter inch in height and it settles to a filmy layer fairly quickly. Some small patches of lace manage to stick to the glass. Not too bad, though I probably wouldn’t buy this beer again, even if it weren’t being discontinued. amalsugar (41), Tremonton, Utah, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 23, 2005 Bottled: Light amber coloured. Hazy. Off white head. Sweet, light herbal, flowery and light fruity nose. Flavour is sweet, fruity and flowery. Quite creamy mouthfeel. Light to medium body. Is quite dry but a little watery in the end. Has some bitter hops though. Ungstrup (15250), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 20, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a lazing thin beige head. The aroma is slightly acidic with notes of grapefruit and toffee. The flavor contains notes of oranges, straw, and hints of honey - quite boring until the dry bitter hoppy aftertaste sets in. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 17, 2005 Smooth and sweet in the front of the mouth. Very light honey touch. A bit of a condensed milk flavor. Sharp hoppy bitterness all over mouth and on aftertaste. I was very surprised by the strength of the bitterness. I expected a much smoother, sweet beer.
