Tastes of honey more then just a hint as the description notes. Malt definitely takes a backseat as the honey dominates yet it’s the only other thing I could pick up aside from a bit of hops.. Very creamyingly smooth and refreshing. I think this would be a great beer for the BMC drinkers to try. Delicious! oh6gdx (8839), Vasa, Finland

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 25, 2005 22 oz. bottle. Hazy golden colour with a mostly diminishing frothy white head. Honey, toasty, and light grassy aroma. Honey and faint metallic flavour with a soft bitter and lightly sour finish. Light bodied, creamy but fizzy mouthfeel. Note to self - stop buying beers with "Honey" in the name. FezMonkey (268), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 21, 2005 Hazy gold color with a short-lived fizzy white head, whose ghost does some remarkable lacing as one drinks. It’s got a light, sweet grassy aroma with perhaps a hint of honey, the hops barely making themselves known. The flavor is grainy with light fruits and a smattering of honey sweetness. The finish is quite clean. Not exciting, but very drinkable. Tmoney99 (4740), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Aroma of light hops with a small honey tone. Light to medium body with sweet short finish. Flavor of moderate sweet. lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 10, 2005 Pours a very pale, clear copper with a thick, creamy ivory head. Nice and lacy. Smell is a light grassy malt and sweet honey.
Taste is a pleasant grassy malt with a light hoppy bitterness. Then the honey kicks in and gived it a bit of a mead flavor. A bit heavy handed with the honey IMO. Light and crisp in the mouth with a sweet honey aftertaste blended with some crisp hop bitterness. I love cream ales, huge fan of the style. However, I hate honey in my beer. Without the honey, an excellent cream ale. With the honey, it is lacking. If you don’t mind the honey though, a very tasty and drinkable ale.
