boFNjackson (536), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 18, 2008 PIB, tap... Poured orange with a white head. Aroma of dry hops and some what fruity. Palate is dry with flavors full of hops and lemon grass. Pretty hoppy all the way through with some non-interfering malt characters. Dry, hoppy finish.
cgarvieuk (2525), Edinburgh, Scotland Oct 6, 2008 Bottle at Beer tasting i organised at work ... Pours a hazy golden orange in a thick glass goblet with no head. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, pine. Medium mouthfeel. The flavour is dominated by alcohol, making it a bit unbalanced but the citrus, grapefruit and bitter finish are still layered and interesting. Jsawyer (16), , Pennsylvania, USA Sep 28, 2008 On tap. Delicious. Floral citrus aroma. Better than fresh air. Amber color, light head. Medium carbonation. Excellent body, balanced. Fantastic! stangger (135), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 15, 2008 On tap at the Drafting Room in Springhouse. Golden pour. Almost no nose at all; Intiial taste is citrus, followed by strong hoppy bitterness throughout the rest of the beer. Magic_dave6 (4000), London, Greater London, England Sep 14, 2008 Bottle at GBBF many huge HUGE thanks go out to my Longegest brewer friend and one of the finest Scotish brewers there has ever been Derick from Kelburn, for risking his ass on this one and in turn becoming a Legend amoung ratebeerers. Alround rating: Only 6 bottles came to britian and Derick was awsome enough to share one with us, free of charge and was alround an amazing chap, amoung people he didnt know(i just hope we ratebeer chaps made him feel welcome). Alround rating: The hoppyness is better than expected, immence lychee, citrus like a limes and lemon fest, big and in my face, this totally got me going and all the more that it was from an olf frimnd a cheacky 30yrs older than me. The rating is purely from the awsoemness of the beer as i expected to to disapointed, and not from the capital fellow whom i got it from. I will always and forever want this beer again.
