zach8270 (1404), Henrietta, New York, USA Jun 28, 2008 (draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Golden amber color with a puffy white head. Aroma is very floral and hoppy with a slight sweetness, possibly from the juniper. Flavor is a nice mixture of sweet and hoppy with a nice floral blast at the front and a slightly malty backbone, coupled with a bitter and hoppy finish. Didn’t really taste any juniper berries in it. Not bad though.
nqualls (185), Tennessee, USA Aug 27, 2008 22 oz bomber. Poured a clear gold/orange color with a large whitish head. Aroma is of malt and possible some citrus hops. Flavor was of sweet malt, but really no hop bite with this. Kinda disappointing. Light bodied with good carbonation. Rather disappointing considering all of their other beers. roder_60 (871), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours a hazy dark orange yellow with manilla head. Aroma strong from 304 ft away. Smells like budweiser with a bit more sweetness and wheat. Flavor is tart and very dry with lots of pine hop flavor. Not much in the way of fruit or berry taste. Pretty plain but decently drinkable. JCastner (21), New York, USA Aug 7, 2008 Poured a light copper with little to no head. Very faint citrus aroma. Light body with malty sweetness and no complexity. Sampled at a Rogue tasting in NYC. This was a huge disappointment from an inventive brewery. stchloe (96), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 4, 2008 What a lovely unique beer. Like a little bit of gin and beer, but not too much juniper aftertaste. carruthm (365), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 3, 2008 insanely cloudy yellow color. aroma of hops and juniper with a hoppy bitter taste. Couldn’t get over it’s appearance.
