xsketchyx (184), Oregon, USA Mar 28, 2004 Not much to look at, slightly hazy with no head, very yellow. Hence the name. Sweet taste in the mouth with a pleasant hoppy finish. Not too bad.
Stew41 (876), Caulfield, Australia Sep 3, 2008 Lightly coloured for a pale ale. Flavours are very mild but some backbone evident through the ’house’ hop structure. Marred by a metallic and skunky finish. cblado (80), Wisconsin, USA Sep 1, 2008 22 oz bomber. Poured a pale golden color, significant head on it too, with good lacing. Aroma was mostly citrus hops, some malt as well. Flavor was similar, with a distinct citrus taste but surprisingly little juniper flavor. I was disappointed that the only hint of juniper came at the end. Overall a good pale ale, but the juniper berries add very little. nqualls (202), Tennessee, USA Aug 27, 2008 22 oz bomber. Poured a clear gold/orange color with a large whitish head. Aroma is of malt and possible some citrus hops. Flavor was of sweet malt, but really no hop bite with this. Kinda disappointing. Light bodied with good carbonation. Rather disappointing considering all of their other beers. roder_60 (872), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours a hazy dark orange yellow with manilla head. Aroma strong from 304 ft away. Smells like budweiser with a bit more sweetness and wheat. Flavor is tart and very dry with lots of pine hop flavor. Not much in the way of fruit or berry taste. Pretty plain but decently drinkable. JCastner (29), New York, USA Aug 7, 2008 Poured a light copper with little to no head. Very faint citrus aroma. Light body with malty sweetness and no complexity. Sampled at a Rogue tasting in NYC. This was a huge disappointment from an inventive brewery.
