Bottle Pours a good black with a creamy lasting tan head. The head produces decent lacing. The aroma is a good mix of hops and sweet malts. I get coffee and chocolate. Has a good carbination and mouthfeel. Has an oily texture. Very well balanced. Has some good flavors. Not a super finish but okay. A little bit on the softer side for a porter. Has a lighter body. It is good but not as deep as I would have hoped for from Rogue.

Pours a deep black topped by creamy medium head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet with coffee, cream, earthy hops and light bread. Flavor is coffee, woody, earthy and unsweetened chocolate bitter. Creamy texture, medium bodied.

Flaske: Sortbrun øl med et kæmpe skum. Duft af porter, men smagen er rigtig god. Sødlig brændte fugter og en anelse tobak. Dejlig øl.

12 oz. bottle from Farm Fresh (for some reason my local Farm Fresh sells this for $5.49 a six pack; killer deal). Pours black with a 1/2 inch creamy head. Hop and smoky aroma but that quickly fades. Some hop flavor but mostly smoky and roasted flavors. Maybe a hint of chocolate. Thin mouthfeel. Not a bad porter at all.

12oz bottle. Very dark pour with creamy head. Tastes of chocolate and to lesser degree coffee and some smokiness. Though not among the best porters it is certainly a very good one.

650ml bottle- dark with faint brown tinges. Very persistent lasting cream / beige head. An aroma best described as a mud-puddle with a ladies powder compact thrown in. Great weight in the malt - roasted sweetness at first then lingering dark chocolate with a hint of instant coffee follows. Nice soapy kinda creamy finish. Not think in body but hugely drinkable.

From a bottle poured dark brown/black. Flavor of toasted malt and a bit of smoke with a lingering finish.
