From a bottle poured dark brown/black. Flavor of toasted malt and a bit of smoke with a lingering finish.

Drank with Steve at IBG. Great nose of almost smokey bbq. Flavors of intense choc and coffee. Finishes with a little bitterness. Overall well rounded.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours a thick dark brown with a hint of red with dark tan head. Get a hint of sourness in the aroma that doesn’t complement the coffee very well. Hops are very pronounced and almost overpower the chocolate malts. A good beer, but a somewhat disappointing porter.

Dark cola brown, thick frothy mocha head. Very underwhelming aroma. Dry taste, some dry chocolate notes poke through. This one is okay, not terrible not great.

Bottle (12 oz / 355 ml). Dark brown with rich flavor and aroma while pouring into beer glass. Taste of American malt and hop is very unique and gets along with tofu cuisine and sukiyaki.

bottle. Nice and black with a light coffee colored head. Aromas of coffee, white pepper, roasted malt and chocolate. Smooth texture with a good hop spiciness, and flavors of coffee, chocolate some malt. very good in my mind just wish it had more alchy.
