Poured a dark ruby/brown. Substantial Brown head that quickly dissipated with minimal lacing. Aroma is malty and fairly simple. A hint of chocolate. Upon sipping the tongue is blasted with carbonation. Chocolate and malts rule the initial taste with a tiny hint of quickly dissipating hop bitterness. Roasted coffee/mocha becomes apparent on the back of the mouth after swallowing. Fairly long finish with the coffee flavor lingering for many moments on the back of the palate. Mouthfeel is medium. At first it feels a bit watery, but in moments it becomes rather creamy and smooth. A good porter for a cold night.

Really smooth beer, it is bready-malty with a great hop balance. I like how the coffee flavor mixes well with the beer.

12oz bottle shared by Dogbrick. Dark brown pour with a big off-white head. Malty and chocolatey nose. Chocolate malt flavor with a coffee finish. Good stuff.

Dark brown pour into thick tan foamy head that dissipates into heavy lacings on the top of the glass. Carbonated bubbles rise out of the blackness to a foamy pool on top of the glass. Aroma of char and chocolate malt with a good mix of piney hoppiness. Initial flavor of roasted coffee and malted chocolate quickly fades into a thin hoppy bitterness. Slightly watery mouthfeel fading to a nutty and almost creamy finish.

Pours a medium, beige head that dissipates fairly quickly into moderate lacing throughout the tasting. Has an aroma of roasted malts and chocolates which is duplicated in the taste. Nice balance of the malts and hops. mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side. Overall, a little pricey in my neck of the woods(midwest), as there are local examples which offer a better value

nice looking porter...very dark with a thick mocha head...good lacing. aroma is very malty...biscuit, milk, vanilla, and chocolate notes. flavor is pleasantly hoppier than expected and roasty with noticeable chocolate. mouthfeel is a bit thin and chalky though.

Decent head and strong body. Great aroma and palate though the flavor was a little off at first.

Bomber - Poured a dark black/brown in color with a small tan head that faded to a thin rim around the top of the beer, Aroma is medium of roasted malts and slight of chocolate and coffee. Flavor is strong of dark roasted malts, some chocolate and coffee. Hops factor in late in the profile and leave a lingering bitterness. Thinner than I expected. A good offering from a very good brewer..
