Draught. Pours a dark brown opaque color with small tan head. Nose of cocoa, coffee, and roasted malt. Initial taste is sweet, cocoa, coffee, touch of cream. Mid palate to finish continues that same, simple but good. Not usually a huge fan of a one dimensional beer like this but worked well for me this time. Light to medium body. Good head retention and spot lacing of the glass. Palate duration above average.

Just an all in all solid porter offering from good old expensive as hell Rogue. I have consumed a ton of these beers since I turned 21 and never regretted a one. Coffee flavor is perhaps not as pronounced as you would expect, but I am actually totally good with that. Nice roast and chocolate flavors too.

The beer is a deep browh with a dark hint of red. The aroma is sweet, of deep malts, chocolate, toast, and coffee. The flavor is of coffee, hot chocolate, smoke, with even a hint of burnt barbeque. This is a pretty nice beer for a cold night.

pours a near black with a tinge of dark ruby. Head is fairly small, carbonation evident. Aroma has definite sweetness but also roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is also sweet and roasty, but there is more coffee evident. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth- not thick, but certainly not watery. Not particularly complex, but quite a good beer.

Pours dark mahogany with hints of ruby coming through the edges. The head dissipates quickly but stays as a cap throughout with the strong carbonation bubbling up. The aroma is fairly sweet with chocolate and sweet malts but with a healthy dose of roasted character The taste is a mixture of dark roasted malts and sweet chocolate and some coffee as well. Maybe a bit of smoke as well. This mouthfeel is creamy but with generous carbonation that tingles the palate in the finish. This is an extremely drinkable porter if not the most complex and tasty. A very good beer.

Pours a deep deep brown color with a nice tan head that reduces to a thin layer after a minute or two. Smells of roasted malts with a hint of cocoa Initially has a slight bitter taste, but ends on a sweet note. Extremely drinkable.

Crushed with Jakebra. Nothing great here. Just a roasty porter. That’s all it has to offer. Pleasant to drink, but it tastes too similar to my bad homebrew porter, which might not even be a porter.
