nice subtle sweet roasted malt aroma, with a touch of hops. Flavor is obviously chocolaty, with a touch of smoke, and some nice coffee, and roasty malt flavors. A nice porter, not too think, not too thick, just right, and very easy drinking. solid.

Dark black poor with reddish hues, frothy light brown head. Aromas of burnt caramel, toast, white chocolate, hint of vanilla...Medium body, lactose feel, good effervescence, strong bitterness, chalky finish, slightly salty... Flavors of coffee, toas, liquid smoke

Bottle (in NZ) courtesy of yalnikim, pours black with a large pillowy beige head. Strong roasted malt aroma, a hint of chocolate. The palate is a bit minerally, the finish is long, with the chocolate building more and more. Got better as it warmed.

Pours a dark brown color with a thick head initially which fades rather quick. The nose is full of roasted malt and creamy chocolate and coffee. The flavor is extremely bitter and full of roasted malt. I like how well it is carbonated and how the roastiness stays on your palate for a while.

Brewed in the USA !! Courtsey of AFI96 thanks Waylo. Pours a dark brown / ruby color with a small lasting tan head. Aroma of dark fruit, chocolate, and malts. The taste is of mild chocolate, coffee, a hint of molasses and some bitter hops. The mouthfeel is kind of watery for a porter but still very pleasant.

650 ml bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Very deep brown with ruby hues, clear, decent tan head with ruby hues. Aroma: Some dark-but-not-very-dark chocolate and medium-roasted coffee, a touch nutty, some light caramel and molasses, a little burnt sugar/toast Palate: Medium body, moderate-soft carbonation. Flav.: Much like the nose, there is some coffee and dark-ish chocolate, a bit of nuts, light molasses, some pine and dank hops; dry with a fair bitter kick and that same medium-roasted coffee lingering for a while.

Straight forward and well-made.

Pours a very dark brown with a nice fluffy tan head. Aroma is very sweet and chocolatey with some roasted malt notes and a subtle hop character. Flavor starts out sweet and a bit of milk chocolate. Bittersweet in the middle much like real cocoa andsome strong coffee bean flavors in the finish that linger. Medium-full body and moderate carbonation. Nice all around porter with a good spin on the classic style.
