Pours dark brown with ruby highlights and a subnstantial tan coloured head. Aromas are dominatd by dry coco powder. Palate shows a tad more complexity, more dry choc and roast with hintings of honeycombe and caramel from the malt. Finish is bittersweet.

Dark brown pour with tan thin head and heavy particulate that sinks to the bottom. Aroma is sour/sweet with a hint of dark malt. Flavor is bitter, astringent, medicinal, and a bit metallic. Body is medium thin. Didn’t really care for this at all. Maybe just a bad bottle?

POured a very dark brown color with a light tan head. Aroma was coffe, caramel, cream and rasoted malts. Flavor was as sweet as the aroma, just a nice straight smooth porter, nothing outstanding.

This brew was what I expected thought I hoped for better. I need to learn to avoid the ’mocha’ and ’vanilla’ beers as I have not found on that I really like. Not horrible. I won’t go out of my way to find but would enjoy this over any lite beer.

Aroma – Deep malt aroma with lots of chocolate and coffee aroma.
Appearance – Dark Black in color, thin head and clear.
Flavor – Deep rich dark malt flavor. Chocolate and coffee flavor came through very nicely.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, decent texture with a dry chocolate finish.
Overall – Great flavor this was a fantastic brew. The flavors where intense and came through very nicely.

Bomber. Pour is black with a fizzy brown head. Aromas strong of roasted malt, coffee, and some cocolate. Flavor is a bit of smoke, roasted malt, and coffee. Solid porter but nothing to rant and rave about.
