| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 19, 2008 [bottle] Poured a hazy brown, ruby when you hold it up to the light with a small tan head. Not a whole lot of aroma, but definitely coffee. Flavor is really nice, roasted barley and pressed coffee. Medium mouthfeel with a lingering bitter coffee finish. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

A sweet aftertaste with a little bitter mixed in. Decent brew. Blom (514), Odense, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Very deep brown, almost black color with only a thin head and a little lacing. Didn’t detect a ton of mocha in the aroma, some but more caramel and malts. There is however a roasted chocolate, malty flavor, turning a bit tart and sour. A slight coffee presence as well. Something is missing in the mouthfeel but Porter’s are not my favorite style. I find Rogue in general is solid but certainly not the greatest quality per dollar. Slipstream (785), USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Dark brown pour with a foamy, fading head. A blue-shirted working man/rogue on the label. Yeasty-hoppy scent. Nicely bittered taste - coffee, grain, and malt. This seems like a solid light-bodied porter with tasty hops. It is fizzy and lightly bitter on the palate. A good, easy-drinking porter, but I don’t taste that much mocha.
