Bottle. Strong aroma of coffee and a light hint of chocolate. Poured with a nice sized head that lasted for a good while. Taste was a bit thin for a porter with a nice sweet malt flavor that is a bit bitter with a finish that leaves a note of coffee. Pretty solid brew.

From bottle, poured a dark amber with medium, long-lasting head. Was bitter with light sweetness. Was on the watery side. Good beer, but doesn’t make too much of an impact.

12 oz bottle. Poured pitch black. Smelled malty and sweet. Crisp and light for a porter. very well balanced beer.

Bottle - I was surprised after my first drink at how watery this Porter is. It was shockingly thin. Some chocolate and coffee flavors, but not enough to compensate for the overall lack of body and flavor.

Tap. Dark pour with a thin head. Hoppy, smoky, coffee, chocolate. Am I wowing you with my ordinary descriptors? It’s tasty. Well balanced. I’m bored of rogue mostly but this is good.

22oz Bottle: Dark brown pour w/ a small brown head. Sweet malty aroma. Very sweet malty flavor w/ some nice hop backbone. Very well balanced, nice & smooth. Did I mention smooth? Yummy.

Pours standardly opaque with slight red undertones. Medium head sticks around. Deep pear aroma, & this aroma really makes the beer. Flavor is not overwhelmingly deep--dry, lightly bitter, with only a touch of chocolate & coffee depth at end. Aroma keeps hitting me during the length of the experience, and the combos work well--even during the slight finishing hops. Not bad.

Pours dark brown. Strong chocolate aroma. Flavor is chocolate bitterness with a hint of sweetness. Could have used more chocolate and less bitterness and warming, but that is just my opinion.
