355 ml bottle, bought at Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. Almost black color, nice beige head. Aroma is chocolate and hops. The flavor is mocha, coffee, fine sweetness and bitterness. Lots of mocha in the aftertaste.

Well, I had high hopes but this is no where near the Stone Porter or Flying Dog’s Porter or the Porter from Smutynose. I like Rogue but not for a porter.

Bottle pours deep brown, big sudsy head...smell of dark chocolate and cherry...taste is kind of dry, but sweet...somewhat flat and bland in my opinion...this bottle may have sat too long.

light impermiable deep brown, fluffy brown head, light lace. good looking beer. pretty airy to my nose, touch of coffee roastinees and caramel creaminess. flavor is roasty grain with coffee hints. medium bodied, creamy mouth-feel, coffee finish. i thought the bitter after-taste was a bit off-putting. omn tap at maple tree inn.

Very dark brown pour with substantial tan head. Nose is chocolate and coffee. Flavor is nicely balanced notes of chocolate, coffee, caramel, toffee, roasted malt, burnt grain, and touches of bitterness in the finish. Excellent beer.
