Over the top in hop bitterness aroma. After beer hits your lips, it isooooo smooth. I love it. Chocolate comes in the middle and stays strong through the palette. Sean says, "As soon as I swallows a big mouth full, chocolate comes through strong and deep.

Dec 30, 2009 Cask at GBBF 2009, 5th August 09. Smooth, quite thin dark brown with no head. Caramel on the nose. On the tongue the malt and coffee flavours interact well. This is a simple beer, made very well. Feels strong despite the quaffable palate.

Dec 28, 2009 A very pleasant malt and coco smell. Nice malt noses, mixes well together. Very dark, nice lacing. Malt flavour isn’t as pronounced as in the smell, a bit of alcohol in there too, wich you’d think would be covered over by the coco. Very light on the palate, malt and then alcohol, not to much else going on there. A nice porter, but it sorta does taste like a watery porter with decent malt flavour with some nestle quick chocolate milk powder thrown into the brew somewhere.

Dec 28, 2009 Pours deep brown with a tall beige head. Aroma is like Nestle Quick. The flavour is vey malty and roasted with some strong flavours of dark chocolate and burnt coffee. Nice Porter.

Dec 26, 2009 Bottle. Dark brown pour with a fluffy white head. Pours a little thin. Aroma of bitter chocolate, more on taste. Coffee flavor is late. Bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel.

Dec 14, 2009 Clear, muddy color with a tan head. Toasted malty aroma with lots of coffee. Not really getting a true mocha scent, mostly just coffee. Taste has a high bitterness and very low sweetness. I would have preferred the opposite. Too dry in my opinion.
